Kyrene leadership is examining how they have supported student success during the past three years as well as reviewing the district’s annual goals and priorities for the ongoing school year.
Kyrene School District governing board convened a retreat Sept. 19 to discuss the members’ self evaluation of board practices in its effort to support student achievement across the district.
Prepared by the Arizona School Boards Association, the evaluation collects responses from each board member and superintendent to reflect the board’s five standards, or pillars, according to district documents.
