Knights of Columbus raises $8,600 for Hope Women’s Center of Apache Junction

The Knights of Columbus Pope John Paul I Council 7243 of St. George Roman Catholic Parish in Apache Junction recently donated $8,647.18 to the Hope Women’s Center of Apache Junction.
The money was collected from a baby bottle fundraiser to support the group’s pro-life programs, including aid and support after pregnancy, according to a release.
More than 550 empty baby bottles were distributed by the Knights of Columbus to parishioners at St. George over two weeks and returned with the parishioners’ donations, the release stated.

The Knights of Columbus Pope John Paul I Council 7243 of St. George Roman Catholic Parish in Apache Junction recently donated $8,647.18 to the Hope Women’s Center of Apache Junction.
The money was collected from a baby bottle fundraiser to support the group’s pro-life programs, including aid and support after pregnancy, according to a release.

Hope Women’s Center was founded in 1984 as a small crisis pregnancy center in Apache Junction. Today, Hope is a safe place for women and teen girls facing any difficult life situation, according to the release.
Hope Women’s Center provides care to women and teenage girls struggling with abuse, poverty, unplanned pregnancy, substance use disorder, emotional distress, family conflict, trafficking and more.
