Kiwanis Club of Litchfield’s much-loved Trout Fishing Derby will go on this year, with social distancing and other COVID-19 safety mitigations in effect to keep participants safe.
The event, a joint venture with the city of Litchfield Park, is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Tierra Verde Lake Park, 301 Old Litchfield Road.
Funds raised go toward Kiwanis Club projects. The organization donates thousands of dollars and volunteer hours to projects to improve the quality of life in Litchfield Park and the Southwest Valley.
