The purring coming from the front of a Valley woman’s car this week wasn’t her well-tuned engine.
Two kittens were discovered tucked away under the passenger side of the vehicle as she was making her morning commute on Interstate 10 in Phoenix.
After hearing the animals, the woman pulled off the road to investigate, according to an Arizona Department of Public Safety social media site.
A trooper and roadside motorist assistant provided tools and assistance in removing a tire so her husband could recover the little ones who would be going home with the driver, according to DPS.
