Kirk: Regarding civility, Skillicorn needs to start with himself

Councilmember Allen Skillicorn recently wrote an opinion calling for civility. I’m not sure he knows what that word means.
Is it civil for a council member to attack residents on social media by name? Is it civil to try to get residents fired from their jobs because they have a different opinion? Is it civil to attack town employees doing their job? Is it civil to demean the LGBTQ community on a constant basis?
If Mr. Skillicorn wants to have civility in town, perhaps he should start by looking in the mirror.
