Killers sentenced in Valley drug deal robbery

The murderers of a 17-year-old have been sentenced to decades in prison in connection with a 2024 shooting during a marijuana robbery.

Agel Chan Ring, 19, and Nathan Da Ron James, 20, will spend 22 and 13 years in prison, respectively, according to a release from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

In July 2024, the defendants lured the victim to meet near 7th Avenue and Buckeye Road under the pretense of buying marijuana, authorities said.
