A 24-year-old man convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend in Glendale more than two years ago will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Rocha also was sentenced this week to 52.5 years in prison, 15 of which are to be served consecutively to his natural life sentence for murder, authorities said.
Rueben Rocha killed Jordin Castillo on June 4, 2023, after he broke into her third-floor apartment through the balcony’s glass door. Six people were inside, including the 2-year-old child the victim shared with Rocha, according to a release from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
