Ketel Marte becomes third D-back with hits in multiple All-Star Games

Joins Diamondback greats Luis Gonzalez, Paul Goldschmidt

Ketel Marte’s hard hit grounder to second base to reach base in the third inning of Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game was originally ruled an error on the American League’s Marcus Semien. The ruling was later changed to a base hit, making Marte the third Diamondback to hit safely in multiple All-Star Games.

Marte joins D-back greats Luis Gonzalez (1999, 2001, ’03, ’05) and Paul Goldschmidt (2013, ’15) in the accomplishment.
