Kepler: Oh, what a difference an election makes

Yes, Democrats were disappointed by the recent election.

While it’s always an issue of ideas, for many of us it was also an issue of morals and integrity. The other candidate cheated people with his fake university and had to pay back $25 million. He was convicted of sexual assault, he was convicted of two separate counts of tax evasion and he was convicted of election fraud. He stole 14 boxes of government documents that the FBI had to retrieve. Apparently none of this mattered.

Now for the differences. There were no personal attacks of election officials by the Democrats, unlike the last election.  We didn’t file and lose 60 court cases of election fraud. After all those losses, we didn’t still claim we were cheated.

While it’s always an issue of ideas, for many of us it was also an issue of morals and integrity. The other candidate cheated people with his fake university and had to pay back $25 million. He was convicted of sexual assault, he was convicted of two separate counts of tax evasion and he was convicted of election fraud. Now for the differences. There were no personal attacks of election officials by the Democrats, unlike the last election.  We didn’t file and lose 60 court cases of election fraud. After all those losses, we didn’t still claim we were cheated.

We didn’t force Maricopa County election officials to have police protection from death threats like happened four years ago.

We didn’t claim drop boxes and mail-in voting were ripe with fraud and that’s the reason we lost. We didn’t claim the machines were rigged or altered or that Chinese thermostats changed our ballots. Most importantly, we didn’t storm and damage the Capitol building, resulting in many injuries to law enforcement and even several deaths.

Nor did our president claim it was just a parade or a tour group after watching the entire event on TV.  So far, none of my neighbors’ flags been turned upside down.

Those are the differences between the two elections and yet, #45 claims we are the enemy of the USA. Honestly, it has to make you wonder where our country’s values went.
