Kenneth M. Creta, 80, of Fountain Hills passed away on January 2, 2025 in his home with his family.
Born February 27, 1944 in Brooklyn N.Y. to Michael and Marge Creta, he graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y in 1966. Ken was a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army and served in Vietnam in 1968-69.
Ken married his wife Rina in 1967 and they shared 57 years together. They moved to Fountain Hills from New York in 1980. He worked as an Investment and Financial Adviser, and was often a guest speaker for different FH organizations and active in local civic affairs including the committee for incorporating Fountain Hills in 1989.
Ken loved being in nature, especially fly fishing. He loved being with his brothers- in- law. He enjoyed wood carving, fly tying, and charcoal sketching as well as visiting National Parks with Rina.
His sense of humor and family devotion will be sorely missed by his family and extended family, including 12 nieces and nephews, 3 sisters-in-law Val Stasik, Ginny Dickey and Vanessa Davisson and brother-in law Vinny Russo.
Ken is survived by his wife Rina, sons Kenneth (Beth) Creta, Vincent (Sandra) Creta and daughter Lori Wedding, and 7 grandchildren, Alexis, Mikayla, Andrew, Tyler, Trevor, Olivia, and Justin.
Services will be privately held.
