Meet Kelly

Kelly O’Sullivan joined Independent Newsmedia, Inc., USA, in early 2020 as Litchfield Park-Goodyear news editor. She joined a major green industry wholesale distributor’s marketing team as a content specialist in late 2021 and returned to INI in August 2024 as opinions coordinator.

Community: She is a longtime volunteer and/or supporter of several nonprofits in Arizona and California, including Sky’s The Limit Observatory and Nature Center, Litchfield Park Historical Society and Twentynine Palms Historical Society.

Education: Northern Arizona University with a BS in news-editorial journalism.

Random Fact: O’Sullivan can’t go home again. The small mining town in rural Riverside County, California, where she grew up has been a ghost town since the mine closed in the 1980s. That may explain her deep appreciation for history and those who work to preserve it.

Hobbies: Photography, hiking, reading old newspapers online, thrifting, visiting Little Free Library, and connecting with family and friends near and far via social media.
