Kaye Isabelle Werbeckes, 79, of Sun City West, AZ, passed on July 17, 2017 surrounded by her husband, children and siblings.Kaye joined this world with a smile on her face and for the next 79 years it kept growing. Daughter of Melvin and Alma Thompson, Kaye Isabelle Thompson grew up in Kohler, WI; the eldest of three.Kaye was a 1956 graduate of Kohler High School. She studied cosmetology in Milwaukee and New York. She started her career in cosmetology at Schuster's Department store Milwaukee, WI and then spent the next 35 years with JC Penny's salon in Sheboygan, WI. Kaye married the love of her life, Robert D. Werbeckes on October 3, 1959 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Sheboygan, WI. The couple purchased the home Kaye grew up in and spent the next 30 years raising their family. Upon their retirement, the couple relocated to Sun City West where they have made their home for the past 15 years.Kaye found her passion in working with clay. She was a member and teacher of the "Clay Club" at the Beardsley Recreation Center and she was known as "The Flower Lady"! Kaye also played mah-jongg and was a member of the garden club. She is survived by her husband, Robert, Sons, James (Gigi), Thomas (Amanda) Werbeckes, daughter, Vicky (Steve) LeMahieu, and 6 grandchildren, Alex, Zach, Josh, Hayden, Adam and Ava, brother Joel Thompson and Sister, Tama (Ron) Garski.
