Karen Springan

Karen Springan, 68Karen Springan, 68, of Gold Canyon, passed away Jan. 1, 2008 in her home.She was born Oct. 3, 1939 in Gothenburg, Neb.She married William Springan June 1, 1969. She lived on a farm northeast of Fremont, Neb. for 30 years.The couple retired from farming and moved to Gold Canyon in 2003.She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lola Frances Preitauer and a brother, Raymond Preitauer.She is survived by her husband, William; sister, Carol Cooper of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Jeff (Tiffany) Springan of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; son, Michael (Autumn) Springan of Gold Canyon; daughter, Shelly (James) Rader of Florence, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.Services have been held.Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.
