Karen Jeanne Smith White, of Sun City West, AZ, formerly of Lansing. She was born on 2/9/1933 in Decatur, IL to Dr. Stanton and Thelma (Rupert) Smith and died 6/4/2018 at age 85.Karen was a secretary at Ingham Regional Medical Center for 20 years and an instructor at LCC. Graduate of University of IL, Pi beta phi, Beta sigma phi, kappa phi theta. Post Graduate work LCC and MSU. Preceded in death by loving husband, Joseph David White and daughter, Dana. Surviving are daughter, Valerie (Butch) Wagar; sons, Michael (Cyndy) White and Steven (Shelly)White; sister, Sue Davis; niece, Leslie Baine; nephew, Gregory Davis; sister-in-law, Linda Edelhofer; grandchildren: Kirsten, Courtney, Cody, Samantha and Shane; great-grandchildren, Cole and Skylar.Private services are being held. Memorial contributions can be made to American Lung Assoc.
