Kaiser: Do your homework to get whole COVID-19 story

In response to Deb Howard’s letter (“Stop blindly believing, do research,” Sun City Independent, Feb. 9), I say kudos!

We have been misled and misinformed for two years regarding the COVID pandemic. Certainly, the virus is real. The potential for illness, and even death is real.

But the damage done by it having been blown so far out of proportion is incalculable. The survivability of the general population is greater than 99%.

Forcing people to have an experimental vaccine that does not immunize one against the virus was deftly handled by the CDC; change the definition of vaccine.

Never mind that forcing the vaccine violates the Nuremberg Code, adopted following the atrocities of World War II. Something sinister is afoot. Just today Pfizer announced record revenues for FY 2021. I’m shocked! As pointed out in Ms. Howard’s letter, the FDA approved vaccine(s) are not available in the U.S.

The vaccine in use is still under an Emergency Use Authorization. The manufacturers are indemnified by the U.S. Government from any damages caused by the vaccine. So much for the claim only gun manufacturers can’t be sued.

Why has the medical community abandoned their commitment to “do no harm” by abandoning the use of hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin?

Both drugs have been in use for decades in treatment of malaria and the parasite that causes river blindness respectively. Ivermectin was approved by the FDA in 1995, has been indicated as a critical drug by the W.H.O., and was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2015. Now they refer to it has horse de-wormer.

Ask yourself this ... was the FDA credible then, or are they credible now?

Do your homework...

Editor’s note: While the overall survivability rate of COVID-19 is very high, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the pandemic has killed more than 903,000 Americans as of this week.
