Juvenile male shot, killed in north Phoenix

Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a juvenile male who died from a shooting in north Phoenix on Tuesday.

Officers responded to the area of 12th Street and Bell Road about 9:20 p.m. Oct. 14 regarding a shots fired incident, according to a press release. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 17-year-old Marki Terril Anthony, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Marki to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died, according to the release.

Juvenile male shot, killed in north Phoenix

Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a juvenile male who died from a shooting in north Phoenix on Tuesday.

Officers responded to the area of 12th Street and Bell Road about 9:20 p.m. Oct. 14 regarding a shots fired incident, according to a press release. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 17-year-old Marki Terril Anthony, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Marki to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died, according to the release.

Homicide detectives responded to assume the investigation and process the scene. Detectives located a shooting scene and canvassed the area for witnesses and surveillance video, the release stated.

The Office of the Medical Examiner responded and took custody of Marki’s remains, and results are pending a postmortem examination.
