Justin Timberlake planning Phoenix stop on upcoming world tour

Justin Timberlake’s first tour in five years, “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” will arrive in Phoenix.

The first leg of his global outing will include 22 cities and kicks off in April in Vancouver, British Columbia, before wrapping up in Lexington, Kentucky, in July. Along the way the tour will make a stop downtown at Footprint Center on Tuesday, May 21.

Fans will hear songs from his forthcoming new album “Everything I Thought It Was,” from which his latest single, “Selfish,” is out now, and all of his career hits. Timberlake has sold more than 54 million albums and 63 million singles globally, with a further 70 million records as the lead vocalist of *NSYNC. He’s also garnered more than 23 billion audio and video streams globally.

He has won 10 Grammy Awards across the pop, dance and R&B genres, including his successful solo albums “Man of the Woods,” “The 20/20 Experience,” “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” and his debut solo album, “Justified.”

Tickets will be available starting with a fan club presale beginning Monday, Jan. 29. General sales begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2 at justintimberlake.com.
