Junior Achievement of Arizona seeking nominations for student leaders

18 under 18 campaign kicks off

Nominations are now open for Junior Achievement of Arizona’s 18 under 18 search for the next generation’s leaders, changemakers and innovators.

Anyone under 18 years of age by July 1, 2023, and who attended K-12 in Arizona, and who resides anywhere in the state, is eligible to apply. Junior Achievement of Arizona is looking for those under 18 who are active in their community who have demonstrated leadership through community service, and those with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Visit 18under18.org to apply. The application process closes at midnight Thursday, Feb. 15.

“Junior Achievement of Arizona’s 18 Under 18 has become one of our signature events,” Katherin Cecala, Junior Achievement of Arizona CEO, shared in a press release. “It’s always exciting to see what tomorrow’s leaders are innovating, creating, developing, or advocating for. Each year, we’re amazed at what a talented group of young people the state has.”

Winners will be announced in person at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 18.

Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the winners.
