We are sad to announce the passing of our Dear Mother, June Grace Roberts, 86, of Apache Junction, Az. On January 16, 2023. June was born on June 15, 1936 to Joseph and Mary Hickey in The Bronx, New York. She grew up in Parkchester and attended St. Helena's all girls H.S In 1956, at a charity dance, June met the love of her life Bob Roberts and married that same year October 6th. They had 6 children: Mark (Jeannie), Jean Blum (Steve), Sally Breyer (Joe), Robin Grimh (Jeff), Lynn Cohen (Carl), Sam (Debbie) June devoted her life to family and she loved the vocation of motherhood. June and Bob moved to A.J. from N.Y. In 1973 and owned their own business, Novar Deterrent Alarms in Mesa for 20 yrs. Afterwards June served as Chief Clerk at A.J. Justice Court. She retired in 2006. June cherished her retirement years with Bob. She was widowed in 2012. She greatly missed her husband of 56 years. She then spent the remainder of her life in service to her family and church (St. George Catholic). Her greatest attribute was her unwavering faith. She was a devout Woman of God and a committed Prayer Warrior. June loved being a Eucharistic Minister and visiting the sick and elderly. She was the most faithful mother and grandmother and was sure to keep all 15 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren in her daily prayer. June had a deep love for God's Divine Mercy and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This was manifest through her ever sweet and positive personality for she was always selfless, kind and joyful. We were blessed to have her as our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Cousin and Friend. She is greatly missed. She is survived by her 6 children, 49 grandchildren, niece, nephew, sister and brother-in-law- Margaret and Bryan Milne of Ga. Her funeral was January 19th at St. George - she is buried with her husband at the National Veterans Cemetery. "Oh Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I Place My Trust In You"
