Juliana Lermer

Juliana Lermer, 87, of Sun City West, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Born September 30, 1938, in Bankovci, Croatia, Juliana’s life was a journey of resilience, creativity, and love. After experiencing upheaval during WW 2, Juliana and her family found a new start in Germany. It was there she met the love of her live, Bill, on a train when they were teenagers. They had a son, Michael and emigrated to Canada, then to Ohio. Their son passed away in Ohio and they moved to San Diego where Bill found work in the Aerospace industry. They later retired to sunny Sun City West, where they enjoyed life while supporting each other.
Juliana lit up every room with her spirit and generous heart. She delighted in making jewelry and ceramics, and she loved to dance. Family and friends were everything to Juliana; she treasured time with loved ones and created lifelong memories.
She is lovingly survived by her beloved husband Bill, her brother, Michael and his wife Dragica, and her nieces, nephews, and cousins in Europe, in the U.S., and Canada.
A celebration of Juliana’s life will take place at her home, 13717 W. Gable Hill Dr., Sun City West, on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Cremation has taken place, and quests are welcome to gather between 10am and noon.
