Judy Probstfield Judy Probstfield is lovingly remembered for her unwavering faith, spirit of positivity, desire to help others, and exuberant love of life. Born in The Dalles, Oregon, Judy grew up near her family’s wheat farm in a community that remained close to her heart throughout her life. Following her high school graduation, Judy attended classes at Oregon State University and pursued a career in administrative support. Affectionally dubbed “the energizer bunny” Judy enjoyed staying active. Her best days were filled with church activities, social gatherings, walking her dog, hiking, traveling, visiting family, and helping others. Judy’s heart for volunteerism led her to assist with numerous volunteer programs through her church and beyond. She enjoyed many humanitarian efforts, including helping rebuild the aftermath of Katrina, organizing and leading group hiking trips, and ringing bells for the Salvation Army during the holidays. She was also a member of the The Fraternal Order of Eagles, and faithfully supported the Food Bank and Alzheimer’s Association. Once a ‘snow-bird’ from Oregon, Judy was over-joyed to transition with her husband to full time residency in sunny Arizona, where she had developed adoring friendships and meaningful community connections. Judy was a wonderful mother and wife. Judy’s journey through life, and courageous battle with cancer is a profound testament to the power of her love, faith, and strength. Her positive spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her. Many thanks to Liberty Home Care for thier exceptional loving care and support during Judy's final days. A Memorial and Celebration of Life was held at Desert Palms Presbyterian Church. Donations in Judy’s honor may be made to the Food Bank or a charity of your choice.
