SUN CITY WEST - Judy A. (Vance) Brockway died Mon., May 4, 2015 at Banner Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale. She was born Feb. 25, 1944 in Bridgman, MI, the daughter of Levi and Bernice LaVine Vance. On Jun. 15, 1960 she married Joseph F. Brockway and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2010. Judy waitressed at Petrie's, Schreiner's and the Holiday Inn. She was active in a couple social groups, the Solo Club and Condo Girls. She enjoyed baking, sewing, traveling, jig saw puzzles, playing organ, going for lunch with friends, spending time with her dog, Chico, and especially loved time with her family. She is survived by her three children, Julie Small, Peoria, Janet (Patrick) Thalacker, DeForest, WI and Cynthia Pappas, Black Creek, WI; ten grandchildren, Christopher, Stefanie and Connor Small, Alyssa and Jacob Thalacker, Jessica Walker, Nicole and Christian Pappas, Jonathon and Elizabeth Humbert; two great- grandchildren, Emma and Wesley Martin; five siblings, Claudia (Pierre) Metzonian, Buckeye, Barb Harrison, Snowflake, Levi Vance, Chula Vista, Calif., Duane (Dolly) Vance, Sawyer, MI, and Cliff (Bonnie) Vance, Orange Park Acres, Calif. She is further survived by her goddaughter, Traci Brockway; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; one son, Joseph L. Brockway; one sister, Joyce Laursen; two brothers, David Vance and Lash Vance. The visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Sat., May 9, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Sat., May 9, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
