Judith A. Sardella

SUN CITY - Judith A. 'Judy' Sardella entered the gates of heaven on February 5, 2014 after years of fighting multiple sclerosis. Judy had many wonderful qualities. She was good natured, kind hearted, funny, and generous. She never let the MS get her down. She loved her church family and it really bothered her that the MS prevented her from going more often. She got to know the Lord while with Sun City Christian Church and was baptized in 2004. Born June 16, 1944 in Oakland, Ca., she was one of three children. The family moved to Castro Valley when she was in grade school and graduated from Castro Valley High. She worked in Administration for General Motors in Fremont, Ca. She was in furniture sales in San Jose, Ca., Beaverton, Ore., and Phoenix. while with her former husband, Tom Sardella. From there, she changed careers with Aviation Service in Scottsdale. While there, her friendship circle grew quite large. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Virginia Day Stillman; and her sister, Donna Stillman Reynolds. She is survived by her brother, Dennis and Libby Stillman; her daughters, Julie Hillibaugh and Felicia Sardella; grandson, Zachary Murray; as well as many family members throughout Colo. and Utah. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Sun City Christian Church, 9745 Palmeras Dr., Sun City, Ariz. Judy made a life affirming and selfless decision for donation to Science Care to help others. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Sun City Christian Church or Hospice of the Valley in her name.
