Judge’s ruling returns Conchas to Glendale council

Lupe Conchas was back in his council office Tuesday.

In a ruling released the afternoon of June 15, Maricopa Superior Court Judge Greg Como found the Glendale City Council’s 4-3 vote to remove the Cactus District council member  “illegal and void.”

Como’s ruling also permanently enjoins the city and council from preventing Conchas to serve on the council and the SRP agricultural improvement and power district board,
