Judge dismisses Chandler woman’s appeal for return of dogs

McKinley's pretrial conference on criminal charges set for Jan. 30

Thursday, a judge dismissed Sydney McKinley’s appeal to have 13 dogs returned to her from the Arizona Humane Society.

McKinley was jailed briefly Sept. 22 after 55 live and five deceased dogs were found at her Chandler home when a search warrant was served; her criminal charges are still pending.

Chandler Magistrate Alicia M. Skupin dismissed McKinley’s request for an extension.
