Judge dismisses challenge of Chandler council petition signatures

An attempt to challenge the ballot signatures of two Chandler City Council incumbents has been quashed by a Maricopa County Superior Court judge.

An attempt to challenge the ballot signatures of two Chandler City Council incumbents has been quashed by a Maricopa County Superior Court judge.

Judge Susanna C. Pineda signed a dismissal order April 16 in the case of Brian D. Fox vs. O.D. Harris and Christine Ellis. Fox was challenging the signatures collected by the two incumbent council members who are seeking reelection July 30.

Pineda said, in her order, there wasn’t much information provided by Fox.
