SUN CITY WEST - Joyce L. Johnson passed away Jan. 7, 2017, while living in the Corte Bella community, in her own home, under hospice care. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde R. Johnson, in 1991; and grandson, Sean T. Braxtan, in 2008. She will be remembered as feisty, happy and ready for a laugh and one who was known for living by the golden rule. Joyce was active until the end as an original member of Briarwood Country Club and founding member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Golf was her hobby, but Bridge was her passion. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and George Neitz, also of Corte Bella; grandson and partner, Christopher Braxtan and Wendy Johnson, of Seattle, Wash.; great-granddaughter, Ada Braxtan, of Seattle, Wash.; nephew and wife, Jay and Gloria Flattum of Chisago City, Minn. Memorial service to be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3 p.m. Jan. 31, 2017, 13724 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, AZ 85375, with a Celebration of Life to follow the service at Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N 135th Ave, Sun City West, AZ 85375.
