The strength of any community lies with its residents. In Queen Creek, that’s particularly true as it has rapidly grown from a sleepy agricultural town to the bustling community it is today.
A goal of residents and leaders is to keep Queen Creek’s small-town feel alive. The Queen Creek Independent is helping in that endeavor by selecting Hometown Heroes who exemplify the best of the town.
These residents will be honored at the Hometown Heroes Awards Luncheon, a celebration of the individuals and businesses who have made distinguished contributions to Queen Creek. The luncheon takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4 at the Sossaman Farms Great Hall Event Center, 19101 E. Ocotillo Road.
