The community is invited to join Sun Health Foundation and its distinguished 2021 honorees at the 2nd annual Heroes with Heart Gala Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa, 9495 W. Coyotes Blvd. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Program begins at 7 p.m.

This evening is a celebration of “Heroes with Heart” and their contributions to caring for the community.

Announcing the honorees:

• Outstanding Achievement: John Brown, M.D., orthopedic surgeon, The CORE Institute
• Outstanding Commitment: Arun Lakshmipathy, M.D., internist and program director for Sun Health Communities
• Outstanding Service to the Community: nurses at Sun Health, Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb medical centers

The evening includes cocktails, dinner, music and dancing, and entertainment provided by Thaddeus Rose Band. Admission also includes valet parking.

Master of ceremonies is Cory McCloskey, Fox10 Arizona Morning weather anchor.

Those unable to attend can consider purchasing a ticket(s) for a special nurse as a way of honoring members of that profession.
