John Malcolm Leopard, passed into the arms of his Savior on the morning of June 16, 2017.John preferred no "fanfare" and his remains will go back to Red Bay, AL to be next to where his father is buried. If anyone would like to remember John in a memorial fund, please send your donation to Dysart Unified School District, 15802 N. Parkview Place, Surprise, AZ 85374. Dysart covers Luke Air Force Base so it is a win-win. John was proud of being in the Air Force and next to his family - he loved computers. If you choose to send a donation, please put John's name in the memo field of the check. These donations will be put toward computers for the students. John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia, his children, Kevin, who lives the Philippines and Kevin's two children Jacob and Sarah; Kelly, his second son and Serena, his daughter-in-law live in Europe with their two sons, Jonathan and Jared. Kristy, his daughter, lives in Glendale, AZ. John loved his family so very much.John, or Johnny Mac as he is affectionately called by his relatives, has sister Sarah Kelly and her husband Bobby in Birmingham, AL; brother Bobby has passed and his wife Millie and their children live in Tuscaloosa, AL; brothers Billy and Tommy and sister Nancy live in Tuscaloosa. Brother Bucky and his family live in Muscatine, IA.John graduated from the University of Alabama. He retired as a Computer Scientist from the Army Research Lab in Aberdeen, MD. John and Patricia lived and traveled extensively throughout the middle- east, Europe and Central America. Ridgecrest, CA was their home for many years and many deep relationships are still there. That is also where John and Pat fell in love with the desert and finally 13 years ago, settled in the in the desert in Sun City West, AZ.
