John D. Firestone, 77John D. Firestone, 77, of Sun City West, died Dec. 6, 2006. Born in Akron, Ohio, to Clinton Firestone and Viola Miller, he worked for 44 years for the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. He served in the Marines during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene; daughter, Patricia Firestone Braser; son, John Jr.; one brother and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Interfaith Community Care, 17749 N. El Mirage Road, Surprise, Ariz. 85374.
