APACHE JUNCTION, Az. - John A. Schritz passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, in Apache Junction, AZ. John was a WWII Veteran and former farmer from Barnesville/Rothsay, Minn. John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Janet; six sisters, Mary, Eileen, Carolyn, Marjorie, Jean, and Ruth; a brother, Philip; a sister-in-law, Marie Schritz; nine of his 10 children, Diane (James) Hargrove, Athens, Ga, Patricia Quinn, Mesa, Rosanne (James) Zimmerman, Gilbert, Gerard (Susan) Schritz, Menomonee Falls, Wis, Brenda (Ken) Cossette, Pelican Rapids, Minn, Mary Sue (Robert) LeNoue, Fargo, ND, Wendy (John) Harman, Abingdon, Va, Stacie (Robert) Kyhn, Apache Junction, John Jeffrey (Nooria) Schritz, Lake Oswego, Ore; a step daughter, Lori (Lupe) Acosta, of Apache Junction; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. Services were held August 6th, 2011, at St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction, AZ.
