Job fair Aug. 24 in Mesa

A job fair will be held 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Salvation Army, 241 E. Sixth St. in Mesa.
“Save the date. National and local companies will be doing interviews, discussing job opportunities and answering questions. If you are looking for a job — or a career change — please plan on attending,” according to a release.
Hundreds of jobs are available. Registration begins July 12 at mesaazpolice.gov/community/job-fair-registration.

Companies participating include: Goodwill, Andys Frozen Custard, DexCom, Circle K, Walgreens, QT, Albertsons/Safeway, U.S. Marines, Terros Health, Mesa Police, Bass Pro, U.S. Army, Gilbert Police, Basha’s, Target, Metro Care Services, Lowe’s, Mesa Public Schools, U.S. Air Force, Sunland Home Care, Elite Community Services and Valley Metro.
