J.O. Combs school district seeks to fill board vacancy

Applications are being accepted to fill a vacancy on the J.O. Combs Unified School District Governing Board.

On Aug. 1, the district announced that board members Chad McLeod and Lisa Carr had resigned from their positions due to personal issues.

Pinal County Superintendent of Schools Jill Broussard will be appointing a replacement for McLeod's seat, as the duration of his term runs through 2024. Carr’s term was set to end this year. She already had opted not to run for reelection. As a result, the Pinal County Superintendent will not fill her seat.
