Jimbo’s Bar in Glendale back after summer of change

New owners took over, and then coronavirus closed their doors

Mike Damico and his brother Tim took over ownership of Jimbo’s Bar and Grill in Glendale last summer.

Less than a month later, it closed.

After the brothers closed on the sale of the bar located at 12224 N. 51st Ave., on June 3 of last year, safety precautions regarding the coronavirus outbreak forced bars around the Valley to shut their doors. Jimbo’s was part of that closure mandate, and shut its doors for 65 days as the brothers pondered their next move.
