Jeff Zink’s message for Latino voters: ‘You need to vote your faith’

Republican candidate considered a longshot in heavily Democratic and Latino CD3

Republican Jeff Zink has a message for the Latinos in Arizona’s Congressional District 3, which he’s seeking to represent.

“Let me direct this solely to my Latino population that’s 64% in my congressional district: You are Catholic and you are Christian. You need to vote your faith,” Zink said at a one-on-one with the Arizona Media Association on Monday night.

Hispanic people make up 65% of the district, according to Census.gov.
