SUN CITY WEST - Jeanne Jenkins, 84, of Sun City West, died on September 2nd, following a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends in her final days. Jeanne moved to Sun City West from Southern California with her husband Robert, in 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Judie Knoerle of Chicago; and her son, James Jenkins of Phoenix. The "feisty red head" dearly loved golf, cruises, the desert climate and the friendly folks of Arizona. Born in Brewster, Kan., she raised her family in Colorado and California. Jeanne will be remembered for her hearty laugh, sparkling green eyes and her generous spirit. Memorial Services were held at Freedom Inn.
