Janice Louise White, age 82, of Sun City West, AZ, passed away quietly in her sleep on October 16, 2018 after a short illness. She was born on March 5, 1936 in Sanborn, IA to Vernon Ebersole and Irene Louise (Scace) Richards. She married Raymond B. White on January 22, 1955 in Wichita, KS, in the Blessed Sacrament Church. Shortly after the wedding, she began her life of travel, married to a career airman in the U.S. Air Force.Over the following years, Janice raised her family in Madrid, Spain, Wichita, KS, Shreveport, LA, Honolulu, HI and Colorado Springs, CO before ending up in Arizona. She selflessly raised six children during that time creating a loving family unit that remains close and continues to enjoy family celebrations together.Janice was a devout Catholic throughout her life and contributed time and energy to help others in her local parish. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting, creating many great meals and gifts for friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant son Phillip Vernon and sister Jean Jenkins. She leaves son, Michael Ray of Encinitas, CA; daughter, Katherine Louise Hanakeawe of Parachute, CO; son, Mark Thomas of Highlands Ranch, CO; son, Richard Paul of Costa Mesa, CA; daughter Jana Marie of McMinnville, OR; and daughter, Lisa Anne of Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by eleven grandchildren: Douglas, Raymond, Phillip, Jordan, Samantha, Hunter, Shannon, Bennett, Duncan, Payton and Adeline, whom she dearly loved. In addition, she had 15 nieces and nephews whom she maintained a relationship with throughout her life.She looked forward to rejoining Ray her loving husband and friend of 60 years.
