James W. McNamee

James passed away at 90 years old in Sun City west AZ. James was born in Rock Michigan August 23rd, 1935. Jim’s parents, Joseph and Myrtle McNamee raised 8 children. Jim was the last surviving sibling. His mother and 2 other siblings moved to Irrigon, Oregon when Jim was 16.
He started his 37-year career with Oregon Department of transportation at that time. During that time, he worked his way up from survey crew to project manager for ODOT. He worked in 12 cities on many projects throughout Oregon.
Jim Married Doloras at age 18. They were blessed with 4 children. They divorced, then Jim married Karin who brought 5 children into the family from a previous marriage.
Throughout Jim’s life he enjoyed water skiing, tennis, golf, square dancing, round dancing, and cards, especially Bridge.
Jim had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both wives and a grandchild.
There will be a private celebration of life for Jim, with his family in April.
