James Reginald Frederick

SUN CITY - James Reginald Frederick passed away on August 9, 2016. Jim was born in Boston on July 6, 1934. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Jim graduated from Boston University in 1960, with a degree in Business Administration. As a CPA, he worked in various locations in N.Y.C. until opening his own practice in Peekskill, N.Y. In 1980, he retired. Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Irma; two stepchildren, Karen Gurian and Kevin Overs; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his youngest sister, Christine Sousa. Joan Frederick (his first wife); and three children, Larry, Glen and Jill; and three grandchildren, live in Florida. He and Irma have resided in Sun City for 19 years and during this time he served on the administrated board for four years as a director overseeing the golf facilities. He loved playing golf, reading and entertaining.
