James R. Watson, 88James R. (Jimmie) Watson of Sun City West died June 28, 2007. Born in Clydebank, Scotland, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1278 in Detroit, Mich. He retired in 1974 after 25 years with the Detroit Police Department and moved to Arizona in 1980. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; nephew, Bruce (Linda) Watson; two great-nephews, two great-grand nephews, three great-grand nieces, one brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave., Ste. A100, Phoenix, 85021. Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel made the arrangements.
