Maggy's stepchildren Kay (Dieter) Slocum and Ron Brainerd also survive. Jim was an accomplished pianist, loved the symphony, ballet, opera and collecting art. He enjoyed travelling especially when he was able to take in local architecture. He served as rector in his Episcopal church in Arizona until illness overtook him.
