Jack William Folmer passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 87. Jack and his wife Carole enjoyed a wonderful life in Sun City West since 1993. Jack was born on November 18, 1936, to Jacob William Folmer and Freida Glantz Folmer in Lincoln, NE. Jack graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954. He received his bachelor's degree from Wayne State College in 1960. He married Carole Ann Schmitz on August 28, 1959, and has been married for 64 years. Together they raised 3 children, Michael J. (Debra) of San Antonio, TX. Kimberly Keller (Tim) of Scottsdale, AZ and Kurt J. Folmer (Susan) of Argyle, TX. They also are Grandparents to Reed & Rylie Folmer and Kara Folmer Diaz and Kyle Folmer along with 5 great grandchildren. Anyone that new Jack knew his life's passion of golf. He was an avid golfer for over 70 yrs. Jack shared many fond memories after retirement of playing in several golf leagues where he developed lifelong friendships. He will be greatly missed by so many of his friends and family. Family requests no flowers be sent. Please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Jack's name.
