Western State Bank teaches financial responsibility to young people

Whether you’re a student going back to school in high school or college, the additional financial responsibilities of each year can be daunting.

That’s why Western State Bank, which was founded in 1902 in North Dakota, offers programs for kids as young as one all the way up through college.

It takes time to build healthy habits, so Monique Van Vleet is glad to have her banking set up with Western State Bank since she was 15-years-old through the Lil’ Buckaroo Savings Club. She now oversees that program, working at the location at 7001 N. Scottsdale Road.
