Isabel M. Cohen

Isabel M. Cohen, 70Isabel M. Cohen, 70, of Sun City West, died Feb. 9, 2007 after a long illness. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, her love for her family was the focus of her life. She was born in Peabody, Mass. After raising her family, she returned to school to study nursing, received her New York state license and worked in pediatrics. Years later she managed a dental office. Moving to Sun City West in 1993, she became active in quilting and calligraphy. She was a member of Beth Emeth Congregation and served as a trustee for over five years. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Abraham Cohen; sons, David and Jonathan; daughter, Jennifer (Scott); three grandchildren, Jade, Grace and Simon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, 85014, or Beth Emeth Congregation, 13702 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, 85375.
