Is Kevin Volk’s ‘howdy’ bill the important work?

Posted

Tucson lawmaker, Democrat Kevin Volk, is proposing an “official state greeting” in  HB 2764! Is this the important work that our elected officials do?

What about working with the homeless population? What about finding solutions for the immigration issue? What about curbing new housing and new construction?

What about talking with our legal residents of Arizona and asking them for guidance on your work priorities and goals? Was there a large population group begging our local government officials to create this state bill on how we should address others in Arizona?

Will we be fined if we do not use the official “howdy” when greeting others on the street?
