Irene Elizabeth Cychosz

SUN CITY - Irene Elizabeth Cychosz passed away Feb. 12, 2017. Irene was born Nov. 4, 1924, in Wausau, Wisc. She moved to Milwaukee to attend school to become a beautician. Irene moved to Phoenix, in 1950 and continued her career. She worked for many styling salons in the Phoenix and Sun City areas. Irene enjoyed watching sports and following the Diamondbacks, Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. She had a wonderful life making many lifelong friends with patrons at her styling stations. She was an active member of St. Joachim & St. Anne's Catholic Church. Irene is preceded in death by her siblings, Bill, Ben, Grace, Frances, Florence, Marge, Raymond and Evelyn. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Alice Cychosz, of Sun City; and many nieces and nephews. Thank You for the kind loving care from Hospice Services of The West and the caregivers of Synergy Caregiving service and Sun Valley Lodge. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City.
