Interstate 10 ramp to Loop 101 to be widened

A project to widen a stretch of Interstate 10 (Papago Freeway) and improve cross-street ramps and interchanges in the West Valley will require a full closure of eastbound travel lanes and ramps near the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises travelers to expect delays and consider using alternate routes while the following closures are in place:
Eastbound I-10 will be closed at 107th Avenue and the connecting ramp from eastbound I-10 to northbound Loop 101 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 to 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10.
For eastbound I-10: Exit at 107th Avenue and use the eastbound frontage road to 99th Avenue to re-access the interstate.
For northbound Loop 101: Exit at 107th Avenue and use McDowell Road to access the highway.
The following closures and restrictions will be in place at the same time:
The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Avondale Boulevard will be closed. Use McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to reach I-10.
The connecting ramp from westbound I-10 to northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to one lane.
The westbound I-10 frontage road between 91st and 99th avenues will be narrowed to one lane.
When this work is complete, the ramp from eastbound I-10 to northbound Loop 101 will be widened from one lane to two lanes.
