The Maricopa County Department of Transportation work at 99th Avenue and Union Hills Drive in Sun City will cause another minor closure.
The driveway from 99th Avenue to Marinette Recreation Center, 9860 W. Union Hills Drive, will be closed from Tuesday, Feb. 21 through Monday, Feb. 27. Recreation centers of Sun City cardholders who frequent the center are advised that both entrances on Union Hills Drive will remain open during this time period.
Maricopa County transportation officials now estimate this project will be completed in mid-March, although no firm date is yet available. However, inclement weather could cause additional delays.
Drivers are also advised to obey all construction signs and give themselves extra time to get through this area as there may be traffic delays.
