Instructional program benefits Dysart

System aids with teaching to standards

The Dysart Unified School District governing board approved an assessment and instructional improvement system March 9 that will help district officials align to standards.

While the board approved the move, there were some reservations among members prior to the vote.

Governing board member Chrystal Chaffin shared her concerns with the social, emotional, learning, FastBridge or culturally responsive teaching data that the potential vendor, Illuminate Education would collect, along with other data.
